John Gough was born in 1965 in Arcadia CA. and grew up in Alhambra, an eastern suburb of Los Angeles.
He graduated from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1990.
Since 1991 he has resided in the Los Angeles area and pursued a career as a photographer.
